Prescription Discount Card Program

On March 19th, Worcester County launched a discount card program to help our residents with the high price of prescription drugs.

Benefits:

• The county is making Free prescription drug discount cards available under a program sponsored by the National Association of Counties (NACo).
• That offers average savings of 20 percent off the retail price of commonly prescribed drugs.
• Save on pet prescriptions when filled at a participating pharmacy.

Eligibility:

• The cards may be used by all county residents, regardless of age, income, or existing health coverage.

Participating Pharmacies:

• Accepted at 16 of pharmacies in our county.
• A national network of more than 59,000 participating retail pharmacies also will honor the NACo prescription discount card.

Obtaining a card:

• Cards will be available at various locations including various government offices, libraries, doctor offices, Senior Centers and health department buildings.
