Mental Health Services
The Mental Health Program provides a wide variety of services to the community. Resource planning, development, and implementation is a crucial element of the Mental Health Program. Referral, consultation, and education for members of the public and other agencies are available.
Other Services Include:
- Individual, Family, and Group Counseling for adults and children.
- School Based Children Services, Parenting Groups, and Summer Programs for children with multiple problems.
- Specialty Services for Specific Populations such as homeless services for the chronically mentally ill, perpetrators and victims of domestic violence, jail program for the incarcerated mentally ill counseling for adult and juvenile sex offenders, juvenile fire setters, the mentally disturbed geriatric population, and adults molested as children (AMACs).
- In-Home Services for the chronically mentally ill and families with children returned from long term residential treatment or at risk of being placed in such treatment services.
- Crisis Response Team designed to provide 24-hour-a-day response for individuals with a psychiatric or substance abuse disorder who are in crisis.
