Administrative Care Coordination
The purpose of the Administrative Care Coordination Unit (ACCU) is to provide outreach, education, and care coordination activities to low income, vulnerable populations, and ensure that noncompliant populations remain in medical care and access needed health care services to ensure healthy and productive outcomes, thus improving the effectiveness and efficiency of the Medicaid Program.
Ombudsman
The Ombudsman Program accepts referrals from the Compliant Resolution Unit operated by the Medical Care Finance and Compliance Administration. The ACCU staff attempts to resolve
referred disputes and educate the enrollee.
