Safety Treatment Assessment Resource Team (START) 

The Safety Treatment Assessment Resource Team (START) meets with individuals, not well-connected to outpatient mental health treatment, struggling with a mental illness, and who are at risk of harm to themselves or others. A licensed therapist will provide support to the individual, to his/her family, make appropriate referrals, enhance safety with the individual, and/or provide short term individual therapy. The goal is to establish a strong connection between the individual and outpatient treatment.

Must be a Worcester County resident in order to be eligible for this service.
