Snow Hill, MD – Bring your family together while adopting a healthier lifestyle with the Worcester County Health Department’s Strengthening Families program. This 9-week program uses an evidence-based curriculum to help strengthen your family bond and communication through group learning and activities.
The program is designed for youth ages 7-17 and their parents/guardians to attend together.
The weekly sessions are two hours long and include a free family dinner at the start of every session. Your family will have the opportunity to receive prizes and other incentives for participating in the program. Topics covered include effective communication, adopting healthy behaviors, managing stress, and other skills to strengthen family connections. As a result of participating in this program, past participants said their families would continue to "Be better at communicating with each other and plan to spend more time with one another each week."

Buckingham Elementary School (100 Buckingham Rd, Berlin, MD 21811) begins Tuesday, April 14th, from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.

Pocomoke High School (1817 Old Virginia Rd, Pocomoke City, MD 21851) begins Thursday, April 16th, from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m.
